When you look at the large picture, when it comes to education, are we really thinking about the children. For example, if there is a budget crunch in a School District. The first thing in many cases is to start cutting positions many times at the school level. The result of these positions being cut is larger class sizes, less staff to help with children of need, less staff to keep up the schools, less money to keep textbooks, computers, technology up to date. So who is this effecting?
We want to have a country that is in the fore front of education, but do we really?
There are generations of children that are growing and maturing in this type of system. How do you think these children are going to reflect on this education system in their jobs and careers. You have a future generation of children who were and are driven by merit and educationed in systems that was driven by the dollar.
We want change in the systems so where do we start?
